Community Groups exist within the mission of Providence to proclaim Christ as a caring community of God-exalting disciple makers.  Our Community Groups are smaller groups that meet in homes in various locations and on various nights around our city during the week.  In the midst of our busy lives, these groups help to give us a purposeful and planned place to gather to fellowship, to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ, to bear one another’s burdens, and to develop deeper, meaningful relationships.  We like to say that perseverance is a community project!  That is because we believe the Scriptures teach that healthy Christian growth and faithful Christian mission are best done in the context of community.  CGs are a great opportunity to be with people that love you and who will help you love Jesus more so that you might be strengthened to go forth to be salt and light in our city.

‘And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.’  (Hebrews 10:24-25)

We currently have four Community Groups that meet in our city on three different weeknights.
